Join Bangladesh army (71 BMA LongCourse Circular)

Security forces: 2012-1-12, tasin alif, bd, bogra, Bangladesh Army has published 71 BMA Long Course circular. If you want be a proud officer of Bangladesh Army, You can apply for your selection. The application form will be started from January 13, 2012 and it will be open until March 1, 2012 in Bangladesh Army cantonment. You can also apply on their website named Join Bangladesh Army. To be a commissioned officer, you have to face following steps to be admitted in Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). After two years, training you will be a commissioned officer as a second lieutenant in Bangladesh Army.

Selection steps

1. Preliminary Selection
·        External Medical Test
·        Viva
Time: one day. For this Bangladesh Army will issue Call up Letter.
2. Written Exam

After passing Preliminary Selection, You will face a Written Exam. Written Exam will be hold after one month from Preliminary Selection Date.
Written Exam will be taken in four subjects

·        Bangla
·        English
·        General Mathematics
·        General Knowledge

Exam time:
Bangla 1 hour, English 1 hour, General mathematics 1 hour & General Knowledge 30 minitues total 3.30 hr. After Bangla and English Exam, you will get break about half an hour.

3. ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board)

After passing writing exam, you will call in ISSB after about 2 months. This exam will held for four days in ISSB.

Activities of these 4 days

Regular and Other Courses: Total 4 days test for all fully boarded candidates.

  • Intelligence and Picture Perception and Description test (PPDT)
  • Announcement of screening out result
  • Personality Test
  • Essay writing (Bangla & English)
  • Group Discussion-1 (Bangla & English)
  • Progressive Group Task (PGT)
  • Half Group Task (HGT)
  • Extempore Speech
  • Individual Obstacle (IO)
  • Interview
  • Planning Exercise (Written & Discussion)
  • Command Tasks (CT)
  • Mutual Assessment
  • Interview
  • Assessment conference
  • Announcement of final results and Final Briefing

4. Final Medical Test
Final Medical Test will held in Combined Military Hospital (CMH). After finishing This, Candidates will get joining date for BMA.
